Questions travellers ask
How do I pay?
Payment is before the trip, by card or EFT — whichever suits you. When your booking is confirmed we send you both on WhatsApp: a secure card link, and our banking details. Cards are processed by Yoco on their own payment page, so your card number never touches our website — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work. Paying from overseas? A card avoids international transfer fees entirely. If you EFT instead, please send proof of payment on WhatsApp (+27 60 796 1174) or to bookings@where-2.co.za.
How far in advance should I book — and what about last-minute trips?
We recommend booking at least a day ahead. Bookings made before 20:00 are confirmed the same evening; later requests are confirmed from 06:00. Travelling within a few hours? WhatsApp or call us on +27 60 796 1174 and we'll confirm a driver live.
What if my flight is delayed?
Give us your flight number when booking and we track it. Your driver adjusts to the actual landing time and meets you at arrivals — no penalty, no rebooking needed.
How long is my transfer?
Each route card shows the approximate distance and travel time — for example, PE Airport to Jeffrey's Bay is about 78 km, roughly 55 minutes. Plan your pickup time with that in mind, and we'll confirm timing when we confirm your booking.
How does Sharing work?
Sharing is a seat in a shuttle at a per-person rate; you may travel with other passengers on the same route. Pickup times may shift by up to ±30 minutes as we coordinate the shuttle — we confirm your exact time on WhatsApp. Tip: for 2 or more passengers, Solo often costs the same or less; our booking form points this out automatically.
Do you cater for child seats and travellers with limited mobility?
Yes — tick "child seat needed" when booking, or tell us on WhatsApp. Assisted and limited-mobility transfers are arranged on request; message us with your needs and we'll allocate a suitable vehicle and driver.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancel or change free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Within 24 hours, or for a no-show, up to the full fare may be charged — see our terms. If we ever have to cancel, you're refunded in full.
Custom trips, tours and groups?
Day tours, inter-town trips, groups of 10–15 and destinations not on our board are quoted on request — WhatsApp us with the details and we'll send a fixed quote.
