Every Where-2 driver represents our brand the moment a passenger gets in the car.
The standards below apply to every trip, every day. Requirements marked
Mandatory are non-negotiable;
Optional items are strongly encouraged
and help earn better ratings and repeat clients.
Mandatory Requirements Mandatory
You — the Driver
Dress code is smart casual with closed shoes at all times — no exceptions.
Always drive within the speed limit and obey all road rules.
Never text, and never talk on the phone, while passengers are in the vehicle.
Share your live location on WhatsApp for 8 hours from when you leave home, so we can see where you are without having to ask.
Be punctual, polite and professional on every trip.
Your Vehicle
Keep the car clean inside and out, and smelling fresh.
Air-conditioning must always be on, unless the passenger asks for it off.
Vehicle must be roadworthy, licensed and fully insured at all times.
Passenger Experience
Play the passenger's choice of music, or ask them what they would like to listen to.
Greet every passenger and confirm their name and destination before departing.
Drive smoothly and safely — no sudden braking or aggressive manoeuvres.
Optional — Recommended Extras Optional
These are not required, but they set our best drivers apart and lead to higher ratings and repeat bookings.
Bottled water available for passengers.
Phone charging cables for common connector types (USB-C, Lightning).
Mints, tissues and hand sanitiser within easy reach.
Umbrella available for rainy pick-ups and drop-offs.
If a customer has requested “Meet and Greet”, wait at arrivals holding an A4-sized board or erasable pad showing the Where-2 name and the traveller’s name(s), either printed or clearly written.
Some key points
If you are offered a drive, you have 6 hours to accept — after that it will be offered to another driver.
Because passengers pay by credit card, we usually pay you 2 days after the trip, so make sure you can cover your own petrol in the meantime.
Example: A return trip (e.g. to PE and back) counts as one trip, not two, because the return leg is empty. If we have passengers on both legs, the first 2 passengers on the return leg are ours and any extras are shared 50/50.
Set your status to “off duty” when you are unavailable. No offers are sent while you are off duty.
Once an offer is sent, tap “Accept” or “Decline” within 6 hours.
